SDCC '15: Chris Burnham On Being 'Targeted' By Grant Morrison

grantArtist Chris Burnham was entertainingly holding court at Artists Alley yesterday at San Diego Comic Con. I asked him how he felt at being "targeted" by Grant Morrison, an entertaining choice of language used in Grant's interview in Entertainment Weekly which revealed he was the new EIC of Heavy Metal Magazine.

Burnham, who has previously worked with Morrison on Batman and Nameless intepreted that as meaning "he hadn't asked me to di it, before the interview". A few scenarios considering exactly how Grant could target Chris were discussed… but Burnham does now have an idea for what he is being considered for, and is very excited indeed.

The image of Grant Morrison bearing down on his artists as EIC demanding pages was certainly an engaging one – and of course, he'd be having to do the same to himself!

But Chris is centainly not the only one excited about all this… Grant is at the show, talking Heavy Metal and more…
