Skybound's Evolution Mutates Into Second Printing

In the cutthroat world of comic book publishing, "survival of the fittest" is the law of the land. And scientific research shows that comic books which develop the genetic trait of selling out and going back to press for second printings are more likely to pass on their genes to future issues. Thankfully for Evolution, the Skybound horror title by James Asmus, Joseph Keatinge, Christopher Sebela, Joshua Williamson, Joe Infurnari, and Jordan Boyd, it looks like the title has what it takes to survive.

Evolution #1 is being "rushed back to print in order to keep up with increased customer demand," according to a press release from Image Comics.

A second print of Evolution #1 will hit stores on December 20th, the same day as Evolution #2, with final order cutoff on Monday, December 27th. Tell your local comics shop to set aside a copy of both for you, or your reputation as a collector of the most in-demand comics could go the way of the dinosaurs!

Human evolution has taken millions of years to get to the stage it's reached in EVOLUTION. But next week, we become something new. Around the world, humanity is undergoing rapid and unpredictable changes, and only three individuals seem to notice that their world is being reborn. But what can they do about it?

EVOLUTION #1 will remain available for purchase across all digital platforms, including the Image Comics website (imagecomics.com), the official Image Comics iOS app, Comixology's website (comixology.com), iOS, Android, and Google Play.

EVOLUTION #1, 2nd printing (Diamond Code SEP178856) and EVOLUTION #2 (Diamond Code OCT170668) will be available on Wednesday, December 20th. The final order cutoff deadline for comics retailers is Monday, November 27th.

A prophecy once said that in the comic book industry's darkest days, a hero would come to lead the people through a plague of overpriced floppies, incentive variant covers, #1 issue reboots, and super-mega-crossover events. Sadly, that prophecy was wrong. Oh, Jude Terror was right. For ten years. About everything. But nobody listened. And so, Jude Terror has moved on to a more important mission: turning Bleeding Cool into a pro wrestling dirt sheet!
