Sparkshooter Webcomic Lets You Hear The Music

sparkshooter-97_coverThere have been a lot of comics over the years that focused on or around bands. From Dazzler to Josie and the Pussycats. I even tried one in the 90's called Bloodlust. The problem is that with a band, you kind of need to hear the music.

Troy Brownfield, writer of the recent Blood Queen series for Dynamite, has a webcomic called Sparkshooter that focuses on a band called Crazy Yeats who recently placed eight in a local battle of the bands only to lose their lead singer. Now they have to change gears and accept a new singer into the group, Sondra Li.

With the upcoming fifth installment of the series, you'll be able to hear the band.
