Streets' Sweet Sightings: Cosplay At Baltimore
Kate Kotler writes;
Baltimore Comic Con – home to the Harvey Awards and a favorite of industry pros and fans, this convention is known for being one of only a few comic conventions left in the country which have avoided the temptation to become an "entertainment con" in the tradition of the conventions like those in San Diego or New York.
In simpler terms: Baltimore Comic Con is all about comics, and only about comics.
We know – it's a shocking concept.
Bleeding Cool contributor and manager of Chicago's Graham Crackers Comics – Matt Streets – is feet on the floor in Baltimore and has been sharing pictures with us of the comics inspired cosplayers he's encountered thus far. Here are a few of our favorites.
I pity the fool who thinks T can't pick up pretty girls…
Bane lookin' badass…
We love this adorkable and quirky Harley…
A Shadow Trooper with great attention to detail…

By day, Matt Streets is the mild-mannered manager of Chicago's busiest comic book store, Graham Crackers Comics. By night, he is a font of categorized information about comics, movies and music. You can check out more of Matt's writing on Keeping It Reel, where, as the "Criterion Completist", he has undertaken the weighty task of watching every single movie in the Criterion Collection. (He figures he'll finish in about 27 years.)
