Sydney Stevens Is Bombshell In Lost Fantasy #9 And Cover For #10

Sydney Stevens is Bombshell in Lost Fantasy #9 from Image Comics ... and this is her on the cover of Lost Fantasy #10

The Image Comics series Lost Fantasy features back-ups co-written by series creator Curt Pires, Timmy Heague and Eamon Winkle, starting in April's Lost Fantasy #9 next week, running to #11. This three-part story stars the new character Bombshell, who was first seen in Lost Fantasy #6 in a cameo at the end of the issue…

Henry Blackheart, Lost Fantasy's main protagonist, called her Sydney….

…and also called in a favour to bring in her ship, The Memphis Belle, for a ride across The Drifts.

Now this new series of backups tells the story of exactly what favour Henry was able to cash in from Sydney – or as we now know her, Sydney Stevens. Bombshell –  as well as giving you a hint of her origins. Sydney Stevens, AKA Bombshell, is a monster hunter/adventurer for hire, think Han Solo meets Boba Fett. This particular adventure requires Henry's assistance to obtain a mystical artefact on an island. The only problem is that cultists obsessed with the multiverse have gotten to it first.  Oh, and there are dinosaurs on the island… Nazi Dinosaurs.  The story is giving very much Hellboy and Rocketeer vibes. And we have a look at the variant cover from #10 and pages from that first chapter in #9…
