Talking Comics – Obi-Wan And Anakin #1, Rocket Raccoon And Groot #1, Code Pru #1 & More!

Bleeding Cool welcomes the return of Talking Comics, from Excalibur Comics, Cards, and Games in Shreveport, Louisiana, to discuss this week's upcoming books, speculating about where they are headed, and discuss their favorite storylines.

Hosts Randy Young and Chris Hunter say:

Thanks for pressing play for the last episode of Talking Comics for 2015. It's not a huge week this week, but we do get several great titles that'll be hitting the shelf from some of our favorite companies as well as tons of favorites that will hit this week as well continuing stories that we love.

We get to see Deadpool and Cable team up again in a three-issue miniseries starting this week called Split Second.  Cable has had a vision of the future where someone dies and now he is sent back in time to prevent that from happening, but everybody's favorite Mercenary with a Mouth has just accepted the job to kill that same person!

In the early days of the Star Wars series, Obi-Wan and Anakin were friends, and this week we get a new Marvel series exploring their tumultuous past before their final confrontation that we saw in the first Star Wars movie.  Be sure and check out the story of Obi-Wan and Anakin while they were still friends.

Rocket Raccoon and Groot team up for their own comic book series this week, and it looks like Rocket Raccoon has went totally "Breaking Bad" and is now an intergalactic gang lord!  The only person that seems to have a clue as to how or even why this has happened is Groot, and you know what he has to say about the situation!

The Darkseid War continues this week for Justice League #47 for DC Comics focusing on Wonder Woman and her plans to deal with her super hero friends, and they all have god-like abilities as well as what is going on with Darkseid's daughter, Grail.

Several of our favorite comics hit this week as well including Savage Dragon, Carnage, Drax, Squadron Supreme, and Lazarus and take a moment to answer our question of the week as we ask you about your favorite creators for 2015.  Be sure and leave your comments down below.
