Rocket Raccoon And Groot Get Their Own Prose Novel, Infinity Gauntlet Gets An Omnibus And… The Future Of The Ultimate Universe?
The Hachette Group's catalogues for distributing Marvel's titles have gone live for the end of 2014. Obviously, much of what is listed are what we'd expect but there are a few outliers in there.
Guardians Of The Galaxy and Marvel's Agents Of SHIELD get nice big hardcover art of the movie/TV series collections in July for $49.99 each. Heavy on the glossy photographs.
And yes, responding to fan demand, there will be an Infinity Gauntlet Omnibus. It may be heavier than the Infinity Gauntlet.
But… and I'm not sure exactly what this will be responding to, there is a Rocket Raccoon & Groot prose novel. Whether Groot will say anything more than "I am Groot", whether we will get a further insight into what drives his vegetabley ways, I do not know. Hardcover, 304 pages, $24.99 in July.
And there's also The Ultimate Fantastic Four Volume 1. 136 pages, $17.99 for August, it could be a reprint of the original trade. But it could also be a sign for whatever Marvel is planning for the Ultimate Universe beginning in April. A new Fantastic Four? Okay, that's nothing more that speculation.
