The Rob Granito eBay Charity Sale – Roll Up, Roll Up, Roll Up!

You may recall Rob Granito, a swiper extraordinaire who used to strut the lines of Comic Cons across the country selling his wares as he made up a fictional CV of working on Batman animated series and of working with many other comic book creators, all while swiping work their and selling it as if he had created it from scratch.

After Bleeding Cool's expose in 2011, he became a byword in the comics industry for this behaviour, as he then created alternative identities to defend his reputation, claimed more credentials that were equally pulled apart, tried to reinvent himself as a Bad Boy of comics, and ended up working with one of the comic industry's biggest crooks, Josh Hoopes, on a line of comics that never saw the light.

And that was the last we heard of Rob Granito. But his work still exists.

And one generous fellow who found himself landed with a job lot of his prints, has decided to sell them on eBay, something he describes as a "literal embarrassment of riches" with the money going to a number of deserving charities.
