Thought Bubble Debut: Freelancers By Martin Kirby

An artist-cum-writer from Newcastle, England – Martin Kirby is currently gearing up for the launch of Freelancers, with the first issue being available at the Thought Bubble Festival, which hits Leeds next Monday before culminating in a 2-day convention on the weekend of the 23rd.

Freelancers tells the story of Elena Daniels – a girl who joined the Freelancers expecting a life of adventure and excitement! Whilst this may not come to pass at first, something has to happen in space, right? Elena thinks so.

Freelancers 1 will be available to purchase at the Festival, along with a few special prints that Kirby has crafted for the event. If you're interested in Freelancers, Martin Kirby will be at Table 86 in the Royal Armouries Hall for the duration of the convention. In the meantime, here's a sample of one of his prints and a few character studies from Freelancers.
