Valiant Previews Emilio Laiso's Inks for X-O Manowar #1

Valiant Entertainment has released an early look at artist Emilio Laiso's inks for the upcoming X-O Manowar #1, the first issue of a new series by Laiso and writer Dennis Hopeless "Hallum" with colors by Ruth Redmond and letters by Hassan Otsmane-Elhaou. The long-anticipated series about the deadly jellyfish hero finally launches in March after being pushed back from an original November release date.

Editor Heather Antos sheds some light on what to expect from the new series:

What Dennis is exploring with Aric in regards to the ramifications of X-O Manowar's actions and how they affect 'normal' people in this new series is not only very poignant for our current social climate, but makes for a powerful new chapter in the Valiant universe. The level of detail and world-building that Emilio brings into the visual storytelling only strengthens Aric's personal frustrations with not only the world, but also himself.

X-O Manowar #1 will hit stores on March 25th. Check out the preview below.
