Valiant's Faith #1 Gets A Fifth Printing
Ahead of what is expected to be a big mainstream push for the character, Valiant Entertainment's Faith #1 comic book has burned through a fourth printing of its first issue and onto a fifth – the fastest time a comic book has gone to such a printing in history.
Faith, who goes by the superhero name Zephr – or Zeppelin to her friends – has the power of flight. And that's it. But that's generally all she needs. Created by Jim Shooter and David Lapham and first published in 1992 in the Harbinger comic, her current series by Jody Houser, Francis Portela and Marguerite Sauvage has gained a lot of media attention due to fact that the character is a positive plus-sized superheroine.
Although, as we have also pointed out, Valiant also publisher the adventures of another plus-size superheroic figure, Armstrong, in Archer And Armstrong.
Currently Valiant is the publisher of the only two plus size superheroes with lead titles in the comics industry.
Faith #1 fifth printing will be out on the 27th April along with the final fourth issue of the mini-series.
