Veronica Steals The Spotlight: Betty And Veronica Comics Double Digest 251
Veronica is many things. She's bossy, fun, a shopaholic, and she likes to make a grand entrance.
In the opening story by Dan Parent called "Give My Regards to Brigitte", Brigitte is about to make her Broadway debut as Julie in Romeo and Juliet. All of her Riverdale friends are there to see her and the night is starting off pretty well for her. That is until Veronica rolls up in a stretch limo, stealing the spotlight away.
During the performance Veronica is caught on the phone, snoring loudly, and generally being rude. You would think that worldly, upper class Veronica would act better. After all, her parents are with her and they don't like being embarrassed. In many stories she even brags about how high class she is, so seeing her act this way is refreshing and fun.
This digest has mostly Betty and Veronica led stories (after all, this is their digest) but there is a good selection of newer Sabrina (and Little Sabrina) stories.
Personally I am partial to the Dan Parent stories since he has been the go to B&V artist for 20+ years. And seriously, he knows how to write a Veronica story. Overall, this is another great addition for your Archie digest collection.
