Will Sliney Is The New Artist On MacGyver

After Becky Cloonan stepped down from drawing the upcoming Image comic series MacGyver: Fugitive Gauntlet, based on the classic TV series and written by Tony Lee and show creator Lee David Zlotoff, the pair went on a bit of a talent hunt. Bleeding Cool even got involved.

The winer is Irish artist Will Sliney, who has worked on Farscape and Star Wars: Clone Wars comics. He also happens to be a proper fan of MacGyver…

Cloonan will still draw covers for the series, starting in the summer of 2012.
