Writer Brian Joines Says "Naturally, I Jumped At The Chance!" Another Bill & Ted Adventure On The Way
2016 is the 25th anniversary of Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey, so it's time to celebrate with an all new adventure…in hell! From BOOM! Studios, written by Brian Joines, with art by Bachan, Bill & Ted Go To Hell #1 (of 4) is set to release in February.
The story goes like this…Bill & Ted and the Princesses have to reunite with their historic friends to knock down the Devil's door and get their friend Death back. With the help of Rufus, Billy the Kid, Joan of Arc, and more, this is the showdown that will rock the supernatural world. History vs. Hell. The catch? Hell has some surprises up its sleeve.
Writer Joines spoke about the follow up series by saying:
The previous Bill & Ted mini sold well enough to warrant a follow-up and they reached out to me. I've had a great relationship with Boom! since my first book with them, IMAGINE AGENTS, and everyone in the office responded really well to the back-up story I did for the first mini, so it felt like a good match. Naturally, I jumped at the chance!
