BioShock Creator's New Game Is Probably A First Person Narrative Shooter
BioShock creator Ken Levine has been secretly toiling away on his new game for a little while in the shadows. At this point, we more or less only know it is a sci-fi game with a heavy focus on a 'constructable' narrative.
However, this new job listing for developer Irrational Games (via GamesRadar+), which is working with a much smaller team than normal, has shed a little light. It seems, true to his roots, Levine is cooking up a first person shooter. The job posting for a 'gameplay systems designer and tuner' says that the position is looking for someone who is an expert at balance, especially at 'damage tuning, loot tables, cool downs, resources and upgrade systems etc.' "Passion for narrative first person shooters" is stated as a plus plus.
Slowly but surely this game is beginning to take form in our mind's eye, and all that is left is for the developer to show it off now. I'm hoping for that to happen sooner rather than later.
