You'll Soon Be Able To Own The 'Persona 5' Soundtrack On Vinyl
Before Persona 5, the last time I heard so many people freak out about a soundtrack tied to anything anime was back in 2001 when people were loving Cowboy Bebop. It's a shame we still don't have that complete four-disc collection on vinyl, but you know what we are getting? Persona 5!
Atlus are working with iam8bit to release a vinyl edition for all us weird collectors and record snobs who don't like paying $30 for it on iTunes and need to own it in an outdated format. (Yes, I am making fun of myself.) You can currently pre-order on their website one of two versions: the "Essential Edition" of four records with tracks curated by the Atlus Sound Team, including the game's most popular music for $100; or the Deluxe Edition with six records which contains the complete Persona 5 soundtrack of 110 songs, which will only have 1,000 pressings and cost $175. The packaging has not yet been released, but we're being assured both will look awesome.
