A New Clip and Featurette for Mary Poppins Returns Teases Some Classic Animation
Mary Poppins Returns is likely going to be one of the biggest movies of the year and one of the scenes that people have been really looking forward to is the return of live-action and classic animation. The scene in the original movie was considered rather groundbreaking at the time but now the main difference appears to be in the costuming. While Mary and Bert had regular clothes in the last animated scene in this production the clothes look painted on. That's because this scene takes place on the outside of a bowl. The outfits are pretty snazzy and we get a look at them in this new clip.
Next, we have a new featurette with star Emily Blunt talking about the character of Mary Poppins and what she brings into the lives of the Bank's children both the older and younger generation.
There was a lot of trepidation from people when it came to this movie initially. The first is a classic that no one wanted to touch but ever since we started seeing footage people are getting excited. Are you planning on checking out Mary Poppins Returns later this month? Let us know in the comments.
