According To Kojima Productions, That Wasn't A Metal Gear Rising 2 Tease

Yesterday I talked about how a mysterious '2' snuck into a PlayStation sizzle reel at the Taipei Game Show. It looked like a pretty legitimate tease for Metal Gear Rising 2 to me, and just about every news outlet seemed to think so too.

Today, it seems that might not be the case though. Geoff Keighley tweeted out that he spoke to Kojima Production's Senior Producer Ken-ichiro Imaizumi and he had denied the news.

Slice that rumor: No Metal Gear Rising 2 tease at Taipei games show. Spoke to @Ken1555 from @Kojima_Pro_Live, it is not true.

For what it's worth, I don't fully believe this denial. I do think a Metal Gear Rising 2 is on its way, and the people down at Kojima can be very sneaky with their marketing. As always though, only time will tell on this one.
