Ron Howard Shares a Picture from the VFX Review for Solo: A Star Wars Story
Ron Howard is at it on social media again. The Solo: A Star Wars Story director shared what appears to be a new image of Donald Glover as Lando Calrissian in the cockpit of the Falcon.
Thus far the main talk surrounding the Han Solo movie is less about Han and more about Glover as Lando. There is a very good chance he's going to walk away with this entire movie despite the best intentions of star Alden Ehrenreich and the filmmakers. Glover is a magnetic presence and every scene we've seen of him so far he just seems like he's going to fantastic in this role. The more footage that gets released for this the better it looks and if Lucasfilm can get the fantastic Rogue One: A Star Wars Story out of that production nightmare maybe this one will turn out okay too.
Summary: During an adventure into a dark criminal underworld, Han Solo meets his future copilot Chewbacca and encounters Lando Calrissian years before joining the Rebellion.
Solo: A Star Wars Story, directed by Ron Howard, stars Alden Ehrenreich, Emilia Clarke, Donald Glover, Woody Harrelson, and Thandie Newton. It will be released May 25th.
