So… Finland Decided to Make A Superhero Movie

And it doesn't look half bad. That said, I can't remember the last time I watched a Finnish film, especially one of the superhero persuasion. Of course they haven't completed Rendel yet, if only because they require the help of fans to finish the project. The filmmakers, who also attended the Cannes Film Festival, launched a crowd-souring campaign on IndieGoGo. You can check out the link if you feel like being supportive.

Anyway Rendel seems like your typical dark, superhero movie, featuring a lone vigilante out for self-proclaimed vengeance against unfriendly gangsters.
