Suicide Squad 2 Still Doesn't Have A Director, But It Now Has The Writer Of The Legend Of Tarzan

Warner Bros still hasn't managed to snag a director for their upcoming Suicide Squad sequel, though they've reportedly reached out to Mel Gibson of all people about taking on the role. They have, on the other hand, gotten a writer to agree to work on the project. Specifically, Adam Cozad, the writer of The Legend of Tarzan, according to a report from THR. If you're wondering to yourself, "what was The Legend of Tarzan?" that's probably because you don't realize we're referring to what is more commonly known as Shirtless Alexander Skarsgard The Movie:

Yup.

What? Oh? Sorry, were we in the middle of an article? We got distracted.

Adam Cozad has signed on to write the script for Suicide Squad 2, and they're looking for a director, replacing both of David Ayer's roles on the previous film. Ayer is still working with star Margot Robbie on the spinoff, Gotham City Sirens. All that remains to be done now to write in a part that allows Alexander Skarsgard to appear topless, and then film this thing!
