Quirky comedy Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt has gotten a fourth season order from Netflix. The series from Tina Fey and Robert Carlock was originally set up as a straight-to-series order at NBC, but moved to the streaming service with a second season already approved. The third season renewal came three months before the second season aired, and this renewal comes less than a month after the third season was released.

The series stars Ellie Kemper, Tituss Burgess, Jane Krakowski and Carol Kane. It follows a former cult member named Kimmy (Kemper) who escapes after 15 years and tries to start over in New York. She ends up working for Jacqueline (Krakowski) and living with the enigmatic Titus (Burgess). Guest stars include Josh Charles, David Cross, Amy Sedaris, Tina Fey, and Jon Hamm.
