Neal Adams Has A Grand Opening For His Crusty Bunkers Comic Shop in Burbank, Today

Kristine Stone, Neal Adams' partner, posted to Facebook about the Grand Opening today of their own comic book store, Crusty Bunkers, in Burbank, California – with Neal in attendance, with free autographs. I know. And just around the corner from DC Comics. She writes,

For all my friends who have tried to call me or email me for the past three months. This is what I have been doing. I helped make a Comic store. Forgive my advertising but I am very proud of what I have been part of. If you are in the La area you should go. I also want to say thank you to everyone who has helped the little grasshopper out. Thank you Thank you Thank you. (Joe Ferrara and friends like Nate at Atlantis Fantasyworld) (Lynzee at Diamond and Roger) and I want to say thanks to all the comic publishers who helped me out on Free Comic Book day when I couldn't get stuff like Valiant, IDW, Boom, Dynamite, Dark Horse. Now for the advertising part.

Here it comes for everyone in the LA Burbank area this Saturday July 13 11:00 to 7:00. The Official Invitation to the Grand Opening of The" Crusty Bunkers Comic and Toy" store. Maybe this is a plan to finish a deadline and Neal has hidden his master plan in a store named Crusty Bunkers????? (thank you Mark Evanier for the joke) or it is a place designed for artists, writers, editors, publishers, producers, directors, and fans to hang out enjoy some comics, talk about the industry, conventions, great art, in a nice warm friendly place just like old Continuity on 48th street in NYC. We even have an outside patio, which we didn't have at old Continuity. So come on down and make this a new place that you want to be at. Be part of the next chapter of History……. You're all invited!!!!
