Universal Pictures's Bride of Frankenstein reboot has been moved back into pre-production. Word is that director Bill Condon is continuing to work on the script and the studio has undated the film, which has been scheduled for February 14th, 2019. Production would've started in February 2018, but they want to hold off until they are happy […]
Universal's Monster Universe is moving ever forward, next up MAY be director Bill Condon's take on "Bride of Frankenstein".
Yesterday the news came out that Disney's upcoming live-action version of 1991 animated film, Beauty & the Beast, would make history with Disney's first canonical queer character in it's first 'exclusively gay moment' (which is some interesting wording there). And there seems to be plenty of applauding going on. But is it really such a […]
The Beauty and the Beast themed April issue of Attitude magazine contains a historic scoop about the film. According to director Bill Condon, Beauty and the Beast will feature Disney's first "exclusively gay moment" as the film explores a "small but significant subplot" about one character's sexuality. "LeFou is somebody who on one day wants to […]
Ian McKellen is playing a very different version of Sherlock in the upcoming Mr. Holmes. In the film, directed by Bill Condon, it's 1947 and the world's greatest detective is 93 years old and has just returned from Japan where he witnessed the atomic devastation. He is dealing with diminishing mental abilities while going over […]
Disney has found its Belle for the upcoming live-action Beauty And The Beast film… and she brings her own kind of magic. Emma Watson, Hermione Granger in eight Harry Potter films, has joined the cast of the Bill Condon directed project. This continues the studios live-action remakes of their classic animations. Cinderella is the next […]
Move over Robert Downey Jr. and Benedict Cumberbatch, there's a new Mr. Holmes in town. Writer/Director Bill Condon is working on a new film focusing on a 93 year old Sherlock Holmes who is dealing with the slow deterioration of his deductive abilities. Once called A Slight Trick Of The Mind (the same name as […]
A solid choice, if slightly uninspired.
Ian McKellen is the latest actor to tackle Sherlock Holmes, Joel Edgerton replces Johnny Depp and Dark Places is still not done with casting yet.
This thing is so action packed, it flies right in the face of everything we typically hear about the series. Reminds me of that time somebody cut a romcom trailer out of The Shining. Still, I'll be interested to see Bill Condon direct some big actions scenes… if indeed he has.
Bleeding Cool would like to extend our sympathy to Brandon Gephart, a California man who was put into the hospital by the climactic scenes of Breaking Dawn. According to Gephart's girlfriend, speaking to CBS Sacramento (via The Hollywood Reporter), the victim was left convulsing and snorting* by the sequence in which Bella goes into labour. […]
Those of you not too familiar with the site may not know this, but I – Brendon Connelly – am a big fan of the Twilight movies. You might even call me a "Twihard". That's why I'm tickled pinker than a schoolgirl during hockey practice to see these brand new stills from Twilight: Breaking Dawn […]
This trailer for Breaking Dawn is pretty much on 11 throughout. I'm sorry* that there's only a glimpse of the overpowered sexing, but I'm amazed it's in there at all. What is the MPAA coming to? Tsk! a) I knew they were going to use "You are Cordially Invited" in a trailer for this […]
UPDATE: Here you go. It's rather hi-res now. This Friday, Entertainment Weekly will publish and image of Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, in their guises as vampire and vampire lover, getting all up close and personal in the bedroom. This is the scene that leads to the infamous pillow-biting. The first look at this image […]
Fans of the Twilight series, of which I have heard there are many, appear to be looking forward to one sequence in the Breaking Dawn double-movie above all others: the consummation of Bella and Edward's marriage. Dirty. Birdies. It's a particularly shrewd bit of teasing then, by the film's director Bill Condon, to have leaked […]
