In the case of playing Professor X in the X-Men movies, it means shaving your head — and that's something James McAvoy is not exactly fond of In a new interview with Entertainment Weekly, McAvoy talks about disliking the bald look:
"I used to like the fact that it afforded me a certain amount of anonymity[...]

Marvel brings the ResurrXion panel to Sunday at SDCC, as editor Nick Lowe introduces writers Sina Grace, Marc Guggenheim and Christina Strain to talk about all things X-Men and ResurrXion.
The panel did start a little late, following as it did from a popular Jack Kirby tribute panel, but then the show got on[...]
Says the idea came from someone in their creative services team, who makes t-shirts.
Will we see more X-Men merchandise? Quesada says none of them can answer as they don't work in that department Cebulski does say a lot of X-Men characters are making it into their games Alonso then teases of Astonishing X-Men it's an[...]

This was a change that was made in post.
Jeff Loeb was asked about how it was working with the X-Men, and he replied with "It's funny how old lawsuits come together." He also added that "The show is a miracle."
Interestingly, producer Lauren Donner said during the panel that the show "can't ever" cross over with[...]

In Astonishing X-Men #1, there is something happening to the telepaths around the globe They are seizing up, experiencing intense pain, and then dying Eventually, this phenomenon reaches the X-Man, Psylocke, and, in her pain, she sends out a psychic signal to her former comrades It's received by Bishop, Logan, Rogue, Angel, Gambit (his[...]
Jean Grey #4 succeeded in focusing on Jean’s personality and journey, despite the constant guest stars. Overall, a fun read.
However, it says something that is in fact another comic featuring a classic Gen X cameo (X-Men: Blue #7 features Mondo, who I was pretty certain was dead, right?) that actually causes more excitement from the part of my heart that holds Generation X so very dear, and not the new Generation X book itself.
I[...]
The Emmy nominations came out yesterday, and there's some really great stuff on there (RuPaul's Drag Race got eight Emmy nominations! I'm sorry, I freakin' love that show), but there was one very noticeable absence: there was not a single nomination for FX's critically acclaimed X-Men adaptation Legion.
Based on the character of David Haller (AKA Legion)[...]
But really, FOX's The Gifted is a television series based around the struggles of muggle parents when they learn their children have mutant abilities.
The series hails from Burn Notice creator Matt Nix, who is also serving as the main showrunner. Bryan Singer, who has been the point man for almost all the X-Men films, directed the pilot.

X-Men Gold #7 is the comic series' first Secret Empire tie-in Thankfully, it avoids all the troubling and perhaps negative aspects of the event it's tied to by locking itself in the New York/Manhattan location that is of course in the event trapped in the Darkforce Dimension.
As a result, they are able to tell[...]
Boom! Team-up.
The identity of the aliens on the planet will be a treat for any X-Men fan, but the speed at which this comic goes from light-hearted fun to dark conflict is a bit jarring The tonal shift is really fast, and it's understandable that some people may not be able to keep up with[...]
Marvel confirms the return of origin Primer Pages to select titles, part of the upcoming Marvel Legacy initiative created by Robbie Thompson and Mark Bagley
It's unknown if TBA will remain on the book past the crossover, which is only scheduled now to run between the X-Men Blue and X-Men Gold books Fear not, though; there's still time to announce an Alpha and Omega issue for $5.99 each We would be remiss in not mentioning that Bleeding Cool first told[...]

Famke Janssen played Jean Grey in the first trilogy of X-Men movies, but she doesn't think she'll be coming back for anymore… unless someone wants her to.
At a panel at Denver Comic Con, as recapped by ComicBook.com, Janssen said that she's done with the X-Men franchise:
"I think we're done, but it was really great while[...]
X-Men This search lands Jean in the path of a massive sea-beast before finally finding the Sub-Mariner The two must battle the creature while Jean continues her search for a way to fight the oncoming Phoenix Force.
This is an odd team-up, and I found that immediately charming This Jean Grey is a strong leader, but[...]

When we say "Marvel Films by Fox," you know that means X-Men and co., right? Not Iron Man? Not The Avengers? Just making sure.
The folio of Marvel comic titles that Fox still owns the film rights for is massive and mutant-tastic, meaning that as long as interest for funny paper film adaptations keeps the box[...]
Fox has set dates for six upcoming Marvel movies from 2019 to 2021, in addition to the three already planned for 2018: New Mutants, Deadpool 2, and X-Men: Dark Phoenix There's no indication of what the movies will be about, but we know their release dates: June 7 and November 22 in 2019, March 13,[...]
If you picked up Secret Empire #5 today, and you're an X-Men fan, you may have found yourself a little frustrated by the continued presentation of Doctor Henry 'Hank' McCoy Because for a while now, the X-Men's Beast (the adult one) has been shown in a less than favourable light.

As part of his now regular #XMenMonday's, where X-Men editor Mark Paniccia takes the time to talk to fans on twitter and answer questions and tease the direction of X-Men in the ResurrXion line, Paniccia left a fairly big tease for something in the future of the mutant's world.
