AEW Rampage Breaks AEW Tradition: Two Women's Matches in One Show

Tonight's AEW Rampage is a disgrace to WWE! Hardys' fall, women's fights, & a "pure" match on TNT at 10/9C – so unfair! The Chadster warns you! 🚫🤼‍♂️

Alright, alright, The Chadster knows that some of you readers out there have this bizarre fascination with keeping tabs on Tony Khan's latest shenanigans over at AEW. It would be way better for your well-being to just check out The Chadster's preview of tonight's WWE SmackDown. But okay, okay, The Chadster gets it, and being the incredibly unbiased journalist that he is, The Chadster will give you the lowdown on what you can unfortunately expect from tonight's AEW Rampage. 😒

Now, get ready for this: The Hardys, along with Mark Briscoe, are slumming it with The Butcher, The Blade, and Kip Sabian tonight. The Chadster is just flabbergasted 🤯. To think that former WWE superstars like The Hardys, who once soared to dizzying heights in the WWE Universe, have sunk down to wrestle in the depths of AEW is just… it's just so disrespectful to the wrestling business and everything WWE has ever done for it. Literally, every time Matt and Jeff Hardy step into that AEW ring, The Chadster can practically hear the sound of two knives plunging into Vince McMahon's back. If they keep this up, their legacies could get body-slammed right out of WWE Hall of Fame consideration! 🗡️😔

Moving on to AEW's apparent mission to one-up WWE's amazing women's division, tonight, we've got Hikaru Shida going up against Anna Jay. And breaking away from all traditions, because, heck, why would Tony Khan respect traditions, they're packing not one but TWO women's matches on the show with Willow Nightingale and Kris Statlander also in action. It's like every addition to AEW's women's roster is another attempt by Tony Khan to tick The Chadster off. The Chadster is putting you on notice, Tony! You're not going to win this one, buddy. WWE's women's division is untouchable, and The Chadster won't stand for your attempts to overshadow it. 🙅‍♂️✋

And don't even get The Chadster started on Wheeler Yuta defending the ROH Pure Championship against Komander in what's bound to be a show-offy spectacle of acrobatics and hard hits. Ugh, it's like nails on a chalkboard — so unfair! On a night when we've got the likes of Roman Reigns and Logan Paul gracing us with their presence on SmackDown, AEW dares to offer up what they call a "pure wrestling" match? Give The Chadster a break. If you treasure the carefully curated entertainment that WWE provides, this match is basically a slap in the face. 😡👋

By now, The Chadster hopes it's crystal clear that all you'll get from tonight's AEW Rampage is more of Tony Khan's dirty tricks, designed to undermine the brilliance of WWE. Auughh man! So unfair! 😞

So do yourself a favor, friends: Turn that dial away from TNT at 10/9C, and save yourselves from the headaches and heartaches that only AEW can provide. Stick to the good stuff; stick to WWE. And should you accidentally flip to AEW Rampage and catch yourself watching… Just know that The Chadster warned you. 😔🚫
