Bob's Burgers: 10 Hauntings Await You As We Rank Halloween Episodes

While FOX's Bob's Burgers may be known for its Thanksgiving episodes, there's another type of episode many fans like myself look forward to, and it's Halloween. Some of the best Halloween episodes from the series often contain some absurd and detailed creative moments. From getting introductions to some classic minor characters like Millie (Molly Shannon) to including the whole Belcher family in on the spooky shenanigans, each episode offers something unique.

But not all episodes are equal, so I'm here to rank them, and we're ripping the band-aid off by announcing the worst first.

#10. Season 12 Ep.3 – The Pumpkinening: Linda (John Roberts) receives a mysterious note on Halloween and must go to her old hometown with Gayle (Megan Mullally) to answer for a misdeed they committed 27 years ago. While I appreciate a storyline between Gayle and Linda, this one fell flat and didn't become memorable in the way it could have for Bob's Burgers.

#9. Season 9 Ep.4 – Nightmare on Ocean Avenue Street: The Belcher kids set out to find the culprit who's snatching everyone's candy bags on Halloween night. Meanwhile, Teddy (Larry Murphy) gets carried away when he decorates the restaurant to compete with another handyman on the street. This episode of Bob's Burgers mainly pulls itself out of last place because of the kids' costumes and Teddy…well, being Teddy.

#8. Season 11 Ep.4- Heartbreak Hotel-oween: The kids meet a mysterious old woman at a hotel on Halloween as Louise (Kristen Schaal) plots her revenge for a candy transgression; Bob (H. Jon Benjamin) and Linda donate blood at a vampire-themed blood mobile. Seeing Bob get persuaded to donate blood, especially since his type is O negative was hilarious, like he was a prized pig.

#7. Season 10 Ep.4- Pig Trouble in Little Tina: Things get spooky when Tina (Dan Mintz) dissects a fetal pig in science class; Bob and Linda battle a giant ball of earwax. This episode of Bob's Burgers is a lot of fun but becomes memorable mainly for the haunting Tina receives from the pig; otherwise, not much else happens.

#6. Season 5 Ep.2- Tina and the Real Ghost: Tina begins an out-of-this-world romance with a ghost that is believed to be living in the Belcher's basement. I love the extent this supernatural relationship goes to for Tina, and it becomes a great episode to put on during Halloween marathons.

#5. Season 8 Ep.3 – The Wolf of Wharf Street: On Halloween night, Linda tries to impress the kids by taking them to look for a wolf that has been terrorizing the town. Meanwhile, an injured and medicated Bob believes that Teddy has turned into a werewolf. Bob's Burgers brings some great moments reflecting the themes of The Wolf Man and other horror classics in this episode, plus Bob's paranoia is hilarious.

#4. Season 7 Ep.3 – Teen-a-Witch: When Tammy (Jenny Slate) steals her idea for winning the annual Halloween costume contest, Tina turns to witchcraft. Mr. Ambrose (Billy Eichner) is an excellent part of this episode and makes me love his small yet important involvement.

#3. Season 4 Ep.2- Fort Night: For Halloween, the kids make a fort out of refrigerator boxes but accidentally get trapped. We get introduced to the odd and scary personality of Millie (Molly Shannon), along with how truly creative the Belcher kids can be (even if it becomes a tad dangerous).

#2. Season 3 Ep.2 – Full Bars: On Halloween, the kids run into bullies when they go trick-or-treating in the rich neighborhood, while Bob and Linda attend a party where someone kills Teddy's pet guinea pig. I've never laughed harder at a dark comedic moment than when Bob unknowingly rolls around on Teddy's guinea pig.

#1. Season 6 Ep.3 – The Hauntening: When Louise admits that she has never felt scared before, the family goes to a haunted house in an effort to change, but mayhem ensues after their visit. Bob's Burgers truly hit it out of the park with this Halloween episode. It is always so much fun watching the Belcher family come together to scare Louise. Also, it's always great seeing someone watch this episode for the first time ever.
