This first season of the CW's Charmed has been so over-the-top intense that it actually had us believing that last week's episode "Source Material" was the second-to-last ep for the season. Thankfully, it's not – and we're blaming it not only on a quality season run but also on our lack of sleep and what might have been some slight confusion with the 362 other CW shows we cover.
So with all of that said… this week's still-two-more-to-go-after-this-one episode "Ambush" finds Mel (Melonie Diaz), Macy (Madeleine Mantock), Maggie (Sarah Jeffery), and Harry (Rupert Evans) find themselves in a rare situation: fearing for their lives, the Elders are coming to them for help – but wasn't that supposed to be taken care of now that Charity's (Virginia Williams) out of the way? Meanwhile, Mel and Maggie's concerns over Macy's reliance on her demonic side continue to grow (people with demons are having a bad run lately…right, Parker (Nick Hargrove)?) while Niko (Ellen Tamaki) and Mel just can't seem to catch a break:
