Chris Jericho Claims He Didn't Sign AEW All Out 2022/CM Punk NDA

Chris Jericho claims he didn't sign an NDA over the AEW All Out 2022/CM Punk incident and got into a heated exchange with Punk's attorney.

Did you really think that the rumblings from AEW All Out 2022 were going to go away just because CM Punk & AEW have parted ways and Punk's back over in the WWE being on his best behavior? For those of you who need a recap, CM Punk walked away with the AEW World Title  – and walked right into a media scrum with AEW boss Tony Khan where he vented his frustrations about a number of situations – and a number of people, including "Hangman" Adam Page, Kenny Omega, Matt Jackson & Nick Jackson (The Young Bucks), and Colt Cabana. That would lead to a violent altercation between Punk, Ace Steel, Omega, and the Jacksons, with all parties suspended as a result (with Punk eventually being fired by AEW after an altercation with Jack Perry at AEW All In 2023).

Since that time, fans have been wondering when the tea would start to get spilled regarding details – with many looking at Punk's return to WWE's Monday Night Raw on November 27th to be the possible "pipe bomb" moment for more dirt to fly. But it wouldn't be – and it was Khan who would inadvertently tip off fans that they shouldn't be expecting to hear too much from those involved due to NDAs (non-disclosure agreements) that were signed.

That leads us to earlier today when Chris Jericho responded to reports from Punk & Steel's attorney, Stephen P. New, that everyone who was involved in the incident had signed those NDAs – except for Steel's wife, Lucy. In his tweet, Jericho claims that he never signed an NDA – and that he was "in the room" and knows "exactly what really happened" during the incident. In the media scrum from All Out 2022 below, you can check out Punk's presser near the opening – and at around the 1:15:00 mark, you can see the moment when Jericho whispers to Khan as he's getting up from his presser about things going down.

Here's a look at Jericho sharing that he never signed an NDA regarding the incident, with New responding that it was included in Jericho's "employee handbook unless you have a special one":

"Hey [Stephen P. New] – I don't adhere to an employee handbook and have NEVER had one in 4 years of working for [AEW]. I've also never signed an NDA in my life … ever," Jericho wrote in a tweet/x in response to New's handbook comment. "So stop trying to be a bully and making egotistical fantasy brags for your clients, and start doing some research before you make blanket statements about your buddies. Because I saw EVERYTHING that night…including how Lucy (and her husband and best buddy) acted and what really went down…and since I was in the room and watching her and everybody else the whole time..I know exactly what really happened. And considering you weren't there and I was …maybe you should shut your mark ass up. Because what really went down was disgusting. …."

In what appeared to be the final tweet/x in the exchange, New implied that Jericho's response could be used in a possible future legal matter:
