Detective Pika-Drew? McIntyre to Delve Into Raw Retribution Mystery
Drew McIntyre may be an employee… sorry, independent contractor… of WWE, but that doesn't mean he understands what the hell is going on over there any more than we do! Did it make any sense when, weeks before Bobby Lashley was set to defend the WWE Championship against McIntyre at WrestleMania, Lashley and MVP broke up their successful stable, The Hurt Business, by firing Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander. No. And did it make and sense when, after Lashley successfully defeated McIntyre at WrestleMania, the next week on Raw, Lashley and MVP seemingly formed a new stable, this time with Mace and T-Bar of Retribution, a stable that was beaten by Hurt Business over and over again on WWE Raw for months? No! That makes even less sense. Well, damn it, Drew McIntyre is out for answers, just like the rest of us!
A press release from WWE.com tells us what to expect from WWE Raw next week:
Drew McIntyre should have been on top of the world to close out last Monday's Raw, but now he wants answers.
After McIntyre emerged victorious over Braun Strowman and Randy Orton in a Triple Threat Match to earn another WWE Championship opportunity against Bobby Lashley at WrestleMania Backlash, McIntyre was blindsided with an attack by the monstrous MACE and T-BAR.
With MVP looking on from the stage as the attack unfolded, The Scottish Warrior now demands answers and plans to confront MVP about his involvement in the incident.
What will MVP have to say to defend himself when McIntyre confronts him? Were MACE & T-BAR working behalf of the WWE Champion?
Find out on Raw live this Monday at 8/7 C on USA Network!
Hopefully, Drew McIntyre will get the answers he seeks. And if he does, hopefully he will fill us in, because we're really struggling to understand these stupid storylines ourselves. WWE Raw airs at 8PM Eastern on USA Network on Monday.
