Doctor Who: Ncuti Gatwa Offers Viewers Some New Doctor Insights

So it looks like the BBC's Doctor Who isn't quite done making news. Not only did "The Power of The Doctor" bid farewell to Jodie Whittaker and showrunner Chris Chibnall, but it also brought back David Tennant as the 14th Doctor heading into Russell T. Davies' upcoming three-episode 60th-Anniversary event in November 2023. That means Ncuti Gatwa will be the 15th Doctor… and appear in the anniversary episodes (as we saw in the teaser that was released). Confused? And that's just what's going on in front of the camera because today brought a lot of real-world news. First, Disney+ will be the exclusive home for the show outside of the UK & Ireland beginning in late 2023. "If you thought the appearance of David Tennant was a shock, we've got plenty more surprises on the way! The path to Ncuti's Fifteenth Doctor is laden with mystery, horror, robots, puppets, danger, and fun! And how is it connected to the return of the wonderful Donna Noble? How, what, and why? We're giving you a year to speculate, and then all hell lets loose!" Davies shared in a statement when the first teaser was released, confirming the Doctor's new "lineage."
