When there is a new episode of NBC's Saturday Night Live set for the weekend and it's the Thursday evening before said weekend? Well, that can only mean one thing – it's time for the on-stage promos! For this go-around, SNL host Jacob Elordi and musical guest Reneé Rapp are joined by SNL star Bowen Yang – but only two this time? In the first, Rapp & Young make it clear to Elordi what their respective "roles" are – and following that, Yang looks to have a little fun with Elordi's last name – but it doesn't quite go over as planned…

In the following midweek sketch, Elordi appreciates just how huge of an opportunity it is to host, so he wants to make sure his first SNL steps are memorable ones. But when it's clear that he's overthinking things, SNL stars Marcello Hernandez & Punkie Johnson step in to lend a hand – we think?
