Sheriff Country Teaser: Fire Country Spinoff Set for Fridays This Fall

Set for Fridays this fall, check out CBS's teaser for Morena Baccarin and W. Earl Brown-starring "Fire Country" spinoff, Sheriff Country.

As the networks look to lock down their schedules ahead of Upfronts later this month, CBS rolled out its 2025-2026 primetime schedule, as well as its 2025-2026 midseason premieres and 2026-2027 debuting shows. Set for Friday nights at 8 pm ET (ahead of Fire Country at 9 pm ET and Boston Blue at 10 pm ET), Morena Baccarin and W. Earl Brown-starring Sheriff Country shines a spotlight on straight-shooting sheriff Mickey Fox (Baccarin), the stepsister of Cal Fire's division chief Sharon Leone (Diane Farr of Fire Country). She investigates criminal activity while she patrols the streets of small-town Edgewater, contending with her ex-con father, Wes (Brown), who is an off-the-grid marijuana grower, and a mysterious incident involving her wayward daughter. Along with the announcement of when it will be airing on the network's schedule, CBS released a teaser (which you can check out above) with Baccarin and EP Max Thieriot (Fire Country) making the big announcement.
