SNL Midweek Sketch Overflows with Jon Hamm, Slaps, Pregnancies & More
Jon Hamm looks to bring drama and romance (and an evil twin?!?) to NBC's Saturday Night Live this weekend - just check out his midweek sketch.
Despite the Morgan Wallen drama, NBC's Saturday Night Live has had two strong shows in a row since returning from break – with serious props going to hosts Mikey Madison and Jack Black. This week, we've got SNL major player Jon Hamm (Apple TV+'s Your Friends and Neighbors) hosting, with Lizzo alongside as the musical guest – and with today being Wednesday, you know what that means? Yup, we've got a midweek sketch that throws all sorts of soap opera vibes at us – and a lineup that includes Hamm, Hamm (it will make sense), Chloe Fineman, Sarah Sherman (who gets in a Colin Jost dig), and Bowen Yang. We don't want to spoil anything – let's just say that there is a lot of romance… and slapping… and pregnancies.

Since its inception in 1975, SNL has launched the careers of many of the brightest comedy performers of their generation. SNL makes headlines with topical humor reflecting politics and current events, features an array of characters with an unparalleled perspective on pop culture, and offers sharp political commentary through its signature "Weekend Update" segment. A variety show that is truly one of a kind, SNL also attracts the biggest stars of music to its stage for innovative viral performances.
The long-running late-night live sketch comedy and music series, which premiered Oct. 11, 1975, broadcasts live from NBC's famed Studio 8H in New York City's Rockefeller Center. Broadway Video, in association with SNL Studios, produces the program, which is executive-produced by Lorne Michaels.
