AMC has announced a new partnership with Mini Museum to launch a special The Walking Dead Mini Museum next month. Held exclusively on Kickstarter, the museum will feature a collection of authenticated items and materials used for the original television series. Specifically, it will feature 32 screen-used elements drawn from props, costumes, and set pieces, all of which were used at some point during the show's 11-season run. Fans will be able to get this collection as a one-of-a-kind acrylic display showcasing all 32 items, as the Mini Museum has done in the past with other pop-culture themed displays.

The Walking Dead Mini Museum Will Feature Exclusive Items From The AMC Show
According to the announcement, these items were sourced directly from AMC's archives and feature many of the most recognizable items that fans will instantly connect with or will remember from the show, as they were from pivotal moments in the series. The items include Negan's barbed-wire baseball bat, "Lucille," Michonne's Katana, and Rick Grimes' cowboy boots, all of which you can see images for here. This is the first time these production-used props have been made available to fans in this format, and it "represents the company's first officially-licensed collection developed in partnership with a major entertainment brand." More details about what will be on display will be revealed to the public on May 5, via Kickstarter. The only thing we know for certain is that it will be limited to 5,000 pieces. We have a couple of quotes from both parties involved below as well.

"The Walking Dead continues to have a passionate, global fanbase, and our partners at Mini Museum have innovated a wholly unique way for them to bring home not just one, but 32 authentic pieces of their favorite television series. And we can't wait for them to get their hands on it," said Clayton Neuman, VP of Games & Franchise at AMC Global Media.
"The Walking Dead is a deeply human experience. It's a show that stays with people long after they've watched it," said Jamie Grove, Co-Founder, Mini Museum. "This project continues that experience through a direct, physical connection to the series, and we're immensely proud to be part of it."
