As the calendar creeps close to the reality-altering debut of WandaVision, Paul Bettany and Elizabeth Olsen are out hitting the press circuit to promote Marvel Studios' first live-action effort for Disney+. This time around, Olsen was a virtual guest on ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live– and she didn't come alone. That's right, we also have a brief clip from the series offering a look at what Olsen describes as the "60's 'Bewitched'" life that Wanda (Olsen) and Vision (Bettany) are living (at least for now). With an appropriate accompanying laugh track, the scene finds Wanda using her powers to turn the lights on and off again before Vision wakes up (asking her if she had used her powers- maybe stressing that they're trying to be as normal as possible?). Wanda tells him that she thinks there's someone or something outside, so Vision goes to look (with night-vision, of course) but tells her the only thing he sees are her roses. And then a noise changes everything…
So for a sneak preview of Disney+ and Marvel Studios' WandaVision (starting around the 4:20 mark) followed by Kimmel and Olsen addressing some of the fan theories burning up the intertubes (Vision's tie? "House of M" wine? Full House?)- with the series set to debut on the streaming service on January 15:
WandaVision marks the first series from Marvel Studios streaming exclusively on Disney+. The series is a blend of classic television and the Marvel Cinematic Universe in which Wanda Maximoff and Vision—two super-powered beings living idealized suburban lives—begin to suspect that everything is not as it seems.
Disney+'s WandaVision stars Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff / Scarlet Witch, Paul Bettany as Vision, Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau, Kat Dennings as Darcy Lewis, Randall Park as Jimmy Woo, Kathryn Hahn as Agnes, Fred Melamed as Arthur Heart, and Debra Jo Rupp as Mrs. Heart. Created by Jac Schaeffer with an opening episode written by Schaeffer and directed by Matt Shakman, the streaming service series is executive produced by Schaeffer and Kevin Feige with Marvel Studios producing.
