In the last twenty-four hours, Bleeding Cool had received repeated reports that Sony have settled on their new Spider-Man. And he is Jamie Bell, English actor, star of Billy Elliot with another major comc-book lead under his belt, playing Tintin in the upcoming Spielberg/Jackson/Moffat/Cornish/Wright CGI adaptation of the popular comic.

To star in the leading American comic franchise and the leading European comic franchise simultaneously? Greedy, greedy boy, Jamie Bell.
