DC Comics Changes Its Mind Over The Use Of The Superman Symbol On A Child Memorial
Just within the 48 hours timeframe that comics legal and media Tony Panaccio recommended (and Tony will be writing an update for later today), DC Entertainment have reversed their decision not to allow the Superman 'S' symbol to be used on a memorial to an abused Canadian child, Jerry Baldwin.
And just as it was social media that was driving the campaign for DC to reverse their decision, so it was social media that delivered the news of the reversal.
Great news! DC honours both Jeffrey's family and its fans! After further review – Jeffrey will don the S shield!
