The Return Of JM Dematteis' Greenberg The Vampire To Marvel?

Away from Secret Wars, Amazon reveals a very obscure Marvel reprint, reprinting Greenberg The Vampire by JM Dematteis from the early eighties for no specifically known reason. Will this Jewish vamipre lead character appear in Secret Wars? Will he be in the movies or films? The Netflix or Agent shows? A new comic book series perhaps?

Or did Dover Books look to reprint this book as well as the other Marvel graphic novel A Sailor's Story and DeMatteis' DC graphic novel Mercy and Marvel thought "actually… why don't we do it instead?" and exercised an option on the contract? After all, that's what DC did with Ed Brubaker's Deadlanders and TedMcKeever's The Extremist. Maybe it's catching.

You can still buy the originalfor less than two bucks. For now.
