Stan Lee Loses $170,000, Selling His Hollywood Hills Home
Stan Lee has just sold his home, 1506 N. Doheny Drive in the Bird Streets area of Hollywood Hills West for $3.23 million, well below the $3.9 million asking price. However, he bought it for $3.4 million four years ago, a loss of $170,000 without taking into account real estate fees or taxes.
But he's not homeless, he bought another nearby home last year for $4.3 million. Built in 1939, it is described thus:
Designer-sophisticated 5 bedroom 7 bathroom, approximately 5,000 sqft home in the famous elite Bird Streets above Sunset Blvd. The charming sun-filled kitchen abound with chef-quality features opens to the charming and cozy family room with fire place, garden patio, butler's pantry and dining room with vaulted ceilings. The magnificent living room with fireplace has floor-to-ceiling windows, built-in media cabinetry and a view of the water pool. The guest suite has a private bath and powder room. The second floor features a huge master suite with stunning his-and-her marble baths, separate walk-in closets with built-in cabinetry, a fireplace, and corner windows opening to hilltop and city views. Two large and bright bedrooms off of the grand center hall boast in-suite marble baths enveloped by private treetop views. Privacy, patios, wine storage, hardwood floors, recessed lighting throughout and two home offices. This beautiful house exudes charm from every detail. Walk to Sunset Plaza.
Here's a look at what someone else has just bought, starting with some rather intriguing wall art.
