How Doctor Who Avoided The Noose…

As well as the Great British Graphic Novel exhibition at the Cartoon Musuem in London going on right now, they also have an exhibition of Doctor Who novelisation cover artwork, and associated pieces.

Which allowed a little comparison of the art and the published art.

Such as this piece, commissioned for the cover of Vengeance On Varos.

Someone clearly thought the noose was a little too much for a cover… imitative behaviour perhaps?
