Covers And Preview Art For Spurrier, Boyle And Brusco's Hookjaw Revival In December From Titan
Hook Jaw was a shark strip that ran in the controversial seventies kids weekly action comic, Action! Editor Pat Mills aimed for it to rip off the Jaws movie but combine it with environmental themes.
It was collected some time ago by Spitfire Comics, and the complete strip is still available in the UK for a chunk of change.
Titan Comics is reviving in the comic in December, and using writer Si Spurrier to rip the stories right from the headlines, with Somalian pirates. The comic has also changed names from Hook Jaw to Hookjaw for some, probably incredibly complicated reason. Or that they forgot. Here are all the covers, solicits and the first three pages
