A New X-O Manowar #1 For March From Valiant – With Monika Palosz

In 2012, Valiant relaunched their comic book line with X-O Manowar #1…and, in the process, became one of the industry's most unexpected success stories.

In September 2015, that series ended with X-O Manowar #50, concluding a 56-issue run (after specials and annuals) that, in total, amounted to one of the longest runs for a independent superhero series in recent memory.

Now, Valiant has given us our first hint of what will be coming next with a teaser featuring artwork by Monika Palosz and the promise of a new X-O Manowar #1 for March 2017 – and major one at that:

Bleeding Cool has been told to expect a complete announcement to be made public one week from today on December 5th…and that X-O Manowar's upcoming return – whatever it may be – could very well be the single most important Valiant launch of all time…

Could we getting a full blown cosmic X-O Manowar? A superstar creative team? Someone new under the helmet? Or all or none of the above?

These are only speculation of course, but with the character celebrating a 25th anniversary in 2017 as well, expect some big news from Valiant this time next week…and throughout the new year…
