Mark Millar: No Second Printings for Hit-Girl #5

Mark Millar has taken to Twitter to once again announce a ban on second printings, this time for the upcoming Hit-Girl #5 by Jeff Lemire and Eduardo Risso. Millar likened the situation to last week's announcement that the upcoming new series by Millar and Olivier Coipel, The Magic Order.

Announcing no second printings of the first issue of a highly anticipated series might be novel, but by issue #5, it seems likely that shops will have figured out how many to order, and Image how many to print, which would seem to make the need for a second printing less urgent. But Millar, Scotland's answer to Stan Lee, knows how to hype, so an official announcement it is, true believers!

And timed so perfectly for Monday's Final Order Cutoff.
