Ralph Macchio Prepares for Into the Spider-Verse Movie

There's a Marvel animated movie coming out in December — Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, with Miles Morales in the lead. The only thing is there is no Miles Morales comic being currently published; he's a member of Champions and he pops up in Venom, but that's your lot right now.

So in November, Marvel Comics is publishing Spider-Man: Enter the Spider-Verse by Ralph Macchio and Flaviano featuring Miles Morales — and a number of other parallel universe Spider-folk to help prepare the way. And give comic stores something to sell.

And it will also reprint the first Spider-Man #1 from two years ago that followed Secret Wars, with Miles joining the Marvel Prime Universe… and suddenly gaining his mother back.
