Everyone Reacts to the Death Of Stan Lee
Comic book creators, publishers, retailers, fans, celebrities, everyone has been reacting to the news of the death of Stan Lee. He touched so many lives. Here is how they are beginning to share that loss on social media.
I am not going to be able to speak about this this morning, I can see that.
But under the persona, Stan Lee was a real human being. I met him three times and three times he told me something literally life-changing.
I hope everyone knows, he cared about us. That was no act.

Stan Lee had longevity and brought us our favorite mythologies. I will miss his movie cameos. Salute to him for bringing us Black Panther when Black superheroes weren't allowed and when Black people couldn't create their own mythologies.

I can honestly say that because of Stan Lee I would not be where I am today. I probably would have never tried to intern for Marvel and would probably be working in film or God-knows-where. I know he meant a lot to lots of people, but to this editor and fan, he changed my life.

Stan Lee was a marvelously enthusiastic, hucksterish and complicated figure. Pop culture would look very, very different without him, and comics would be unrecognizable. It was a gift to have him around as long as we did. https://t.co/ObV2V7PYyc
