But in today's Batbooks no one seems to have noticed. The Batman Who Laughs #1 has Commissioner Gordon turn the Bat Signal off because of the action of parallel Batman, the Grim Knight.

Though in the Batman ongoing series, Commissioner Gordon behaves to Bruce Wayne as if he is the Grim Knight, after Batman punched him out and burnt through the Batman rogues.

While in Detective Comics #994, the first Peter Tomasi and Doug Mahnke issue out today, the Bat Signal is in full working order and somehow has gone portable…
