Marvel Comics Overships War Of The Realms: New Agents Of Atlas #1 Next Week

Marvel are continuing their policy of selective limited overships of certain comic books. Their previous overshipping policy been dropped a couple of years ago, but this appears to tackle one or two books every month that Marvel, for one reason or another, believe has been underordered by the retailer community at large.

And in May, that's War Of The Realms: New Agents Of Atlas #1, the comic that is debuting Marvel's Chinese superheroes Aero and Sword-Master, and new Filipino character Wave.

Retailers can sell the added issues as usual, to see if demand was greater than they believed – and adjust their orders for #2 (which won't be overshipped), or use the added copies as promotional materials, sampling that may encourage some people to add the title to their pull list.

The comic is published on the 8th of May.
