A Comic Show – A Dark Knight And A Black Friday

Aaron Haaland writes,

Hey Fandom! I'm back from NC Comicon where I broke the Gerard Way Doomed Doom Patrol story, and damn this week is full of great comics! I'm ready from everyone to come out and celebrate Black Friday here in style with nutty deals, then come back for the Local Comic Shop Day books (that I showcase in this video).

This week Dark Knight III: The Master Race surprised the hell out of me by actually being good. Like really good. Like I've forgotten how bad Dark Knight Cash Grab II was, and can't wait for part two of this run. I don't spoil the big twist in this issue, but it's one of those things where I can't wait to talk to other fans who've read it!

Vader Down continues to make this Star Wars fanboy squee. I'm in love with this run and want Aaron and Gillen to stay on forever! Marvel's new #1's were all enjoyable this week, Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur stands out as the next Ms. Marvel. Any week with Saga or Fight Club is stellar one. Zdarsky's Jughead is way cooler than Archie, but Archie #4 does reveal the #lipstickincident. And the new Image #1 by Joe Keatinge is highly recommended even if you don't like wrestling. Ringside is a book about wrestling as much as Southern Bastards is about football. So, it's about how men bleed and brake themselves for the sport.
