A Comic Show – Everybody Go Down Harper Row

Aaron Haaland writes;
Hey Fandom! It's me again with New Comics Now!
Hawkeye's 1st collection is out and it's the best super hero book around! Honestly, this is a template for how all second stringer solo books should be: short stories full of heart. Marvel has a few of their better Now titles out this week like Uncanny X-men, Thor, and Secret Avengers. Cornell's Wolverine #1 is out and while I love Cornell and wanted to review the book, this 1st issue didn't do much for me.
The Batman books left me heartbroken, especially the wordless Batman & Robin #18. Batman #18 really has me loving Harper Row, she's basically the new Spoiler in this issue in everything but name. Will she be the new Robin? This issue don't spoil that, so I can't even if I wanted to. I think she will be eventually.
Crossed #25 is the return of Garth Ennis! Walking Dead gave me hope for #100's revenge! And Bloodshot #9 leads right into Harbinger Wars. I'm unapologetic for Valiant!

Hey Fandom! It's me Aaron with another "A Comic Spotlight"! This time it's on the Valiant Universe reboot, or "Now that's what I call a relaunch"!
First, I dive into what makes this reboot truly work comparing it to the DC New 52. I rip into how DC mainly changed the aesthetics of costumes and numbering where Valiant actually connected to the themes and undercurrents of our modern world. Then I talk about the relaunch aspect of the marketing and retailer/fan relations and how Valiant has been amazing on that front.
Next, I give you my take on my favorite title, Harbinger, as well as some fun facts about Bloodshot, Archer & Armstrong, and Shadowman. Then this Green Lantern fan talks Rob Venditti's X-O Manowar and how his work here assures me all will be well with GL!
Finally, I talk the near future of Valiant; Harbinger Wars, Planet Death, and Dollar Debuts (new printings of the five first issues for one dollar in time for Free Comic Book Day)! I really hope you give these books a shot, they won't let you down!
